My fiancee and I are getting married and we’re going to be doing it outside in a large gazebo type thing. We want to have the whole falling balloons thing right after we say “I Do” our guestlist is small and we’re doing everything ourselves. We were wondering how would we make the balloons fall from the ceiling of the gazebo? Please keep it low tech.
Btw I didn’t ask for opinons, so please either answer the actual question or don’t answer at all. Thank you.
The gazebo will be at a lake, its a public outdoor gazebo, doesn’t belong to anyone.

Balloon Arch
Balloon arch decoration is a just the ideal way to add style to your celebration or party. The simplest way to make a piece of balloon arch is to get a pre-build arch made of white metal. If in case a balloon arch is not available, you could as well build an arch using strong bendable metal wire. Just make sure it is strong sufficient to stand on its own.
After you place the balloon arch, just attach full colors balloons onto the arch using wire ties or string. Wrap the tie just about the base of the balloon and then on the arch. It is most excellent to begin at the top and work your own way down both sides consistently to crate a standardized look. This could as well be done with plane white or multicolored balloons or balloons of single shade. Balloons need to be filled with helium anyways.
The more balloons you tend to attach the superior the piece would turn out to be. Also, this is a piece, which should be constructed at the site where it would be used. Balloon arches last for about twelve hours, so plan its creation accordingly.
The completed balloons arch could be used in different places. Some brides select to place the arch outer surface of the entrance to the ceremony. This permits guest to walk through the arch as well as the bride during wedding and her attendants. Other brides select to use the balloon arch as a ceremony highlight. They favor to place it in the party area so they could stand under it as they are saying their vows. Lastly, many brides feel this decoration is superior suited for the reception area and use it to decorate for the after-ceremony event
