Can you answer manda’s question about Balloons?:

I am wondering everyones opinion on having a few red heart balloons tied to the centerpieces. It is a very cliche valentines wedding with everything being red and white with chocolates and roses. Just wondering.

Feedback: I love it! One thing I would do is make sure they are high enough and out of the way enough so your guests can see each other and everything, not just balloons.

Feedback: Absolutely perfect. Congratulations! Some shiny foiled chocolate hearts in red and white, scattered on the tabletops would bring balance to the floating balloons, too.

Feedback: I think balloons are fine if they’re done well. If not done well they can look cheap. Heart balloons for a Valentine’s wedding would be perfect.

Feedback: Hi and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

You asked opinions….so here is mine:

I really do not like balloons at weddings. I think balloons are best for kids birthday parties. Just my opinion.

ALSO….if they obstruct the guests view as they are trying to chat with others at the table, it really gets annoying. I was at a wedding once where we kept having to move the balloon centerpiece in order to talk with those across the table.

I think the whole hearts, chocolates, roses, thing would be nice, but there are so many other ways to accomplish this!

Why not some red heart floating candles in a bowl with some vase gems on the bottom…..like these:

    Well, again….just my opinion.

Feedback: Helium filled balloons make great centerpieces because they don’t obscure anyone’s view of the other people at the table or the people making speeches, the dance floor etc.

They are also relatively inexpensive, and there is never any problem getting rid of them after the wedding - guests love to take them home.

You couldn’t choose anything better than heart-shaped balloons for a wedding!

And if you really want to finish the evening on a high note, have your guests untie the balloons and have each couple hold one as they dance the last dance and then line up on either side of your route to the exit so you leave between an honour guard of happy faces and romantic red hearts.

Feedback: I would keep balloons away from any wedding. You seem like your going for a romantic theme, so i personally think balloons would be to immature and tacky.
